If you encounter technical issues such as not being able to see your threads, seeing altered content, or being unable to generate a response, these problems usually resolve within 30 minutes to a few hours.

To ensure optimal performance on your web browser or mobile device, follow these steps:

  1. Clear browsing data, including cookies and cached images and files

  2. Log out

  3. Restart browser or app

  4. Log in back to Perplexity

How do I submit a bug report?

Email us at support@perplexity.ai. Include the following information:

Desktop report:

  • Email address of your Perplexity account (if different from the sender's email)

  • Web browser type

  • Detailed description of the issue (include steps to recreate if known)

  • Screenshots or videos (highly appreciated)

Mobile app (iOS or Android) report:

  • Email address of your Perplexity account (if different from the sender's email)

  • Device & Version + Build (found in the app's Settings page)

  • Detailed description of the issue (include steps to recreate if known)

  • Screenshots or videos (highly appreciated)

Why am I unable to login using the link sent to my email account?

We recommend using a Gmail or Apple account to log into Perplexity, as other email clients may have issues. We are working to improve the login experience.

If you cannot sign in, check the following:

  1. Check your spam folder.

  2. Ensure you are using the most recent login link.

  3. Open the link on the same device you are using Perplexity on.

  4. Verify your email provider is not blocking any links.

  5. Disable any email scanners.

Why can’t I log into the mobile app?

If you're having trouble logging into the mobile app, try these steps:

  1. Ensure your phone settings allow Perplexity to be launched via login links.

  2. Use the most recent login link.

  3. Open the login link on the same device where you're using the Perplexity app.

  4. Verify your email provider isn't blocking our links.

  5. Temporarily disable any email scanning software.

  6. Disable any VPN you might be using.

For a smoother experience, consider logging in via your Google or Apple account.

How can I report incorrect or inaccurate answers?

We highly value your feedback. Use the flag icon below the answer to report issues. Alternatively, create a ticket on our support window or email support@perplexity.ai.

Include the following in your report:

  • URL to the query

  • Description of the error and expected result

  • Examples of issues:

    • Repetitive behavior

    • Loss of context

    • Ignoring prompts

    • Misinformation

    • Outdated information

Why can’t I see my Pro status?

Ensure you are logged into the account associated with your Perplexity Pro subscription. Check your payment status in Settings > Manage Subscription.
